CORR IS
BACK WITH A NEW TRACK IN CHULA VISTA JUNE 9TH AND 10TH
Newport Beach, CA ( May 31, 2007) — Fans get ready; the fender-to-fender
excitement of CORR racing is back in Chula Vista with a brand new track,
and guest driver AMA Supercross Champion Jeremy McGrath.
After the first sold out crowd in CORR history at the Fairplex in Pomona,
CORR is thrilled to be bringing off road racing and high profile stars to
Chula Vista next weekend, June 9th and 10th. With excitement building for
the brand new Chula Vista International Raceway CORR anticipates another
sold out crowd.
Seven time AMA Supercross Champion Jeremy McGrath will race both Saturday
and Sunday in Chula Vista. Driving a Baldwin prepared Pro 2 McGrath will
race in rounds five and six of the Pro 2 CORR Lucas Oil series, as well as
in the NBC broadcast Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup Series Qualifier.
Defending Pro 2 Champion Carl Renezeder who dominated the Pro 2 CORR Lucas
Oil series at the Fairplex in Pomona is returning to Chula Vista hoping to
be the first Pro 2 to win at the brand new Chula Vista International
Raceway.
“I still can’t believe the weekend we had at Pomona; five podiums in five
races, including two wins, wow. It’s a testament to the trucks my guys put
underneath me, and the good luck that was on our side,” said Renezeder.
“We’re looking forward to carrying that momentum, and hopefully some more
good luck, into the Chula Vista event. I’ve heard great things about the
new track and anticipate another great weekend of racing.”
