Douglas Motorsports Qualifies Fourth in PRO-4

May 7, 2007 (Chula Vista, CA) – Scott Douglas came to the quarry with his entire arsenal for the third weekend of Championship Off-Road Racing. With only one short-course series holding an event this weekend, Scott Douglas was able to bring both of his AMSOIL Kumho Tire Sycuan Resort & Casino KC Hilites Alloy Ford F-150 PRO-4 trucks to the Chula Vista International Raceway. Hopefully, he won’t need to drive the backup truck, but after what Scott went through in Antelope Valley, a second truck can keep you competing the entire weekend.

When Douglas Motorsports unloaded at the Quarry, Scott and the team were in awe of the track CORR officials created. The track design really brings a chunk of Baja to the fans. The biggest feature is the ski jump”, a 3-story tall hill that quickly drops away sending trucks over 125 feet in the air. Then toss in banked turns, stutter bumps, and an assortment of jumps, you have a quick, but technical short course track.

The qualifying for the #7 AMSOIL Kumho Tire Sycuan Resort & Casino KC Hilites Alloy Ford F-150 saw a solid run for Scott Douglas with a fast lap of 55.80 seconds. Scott is the fastest qualifying Ford F-150 in the field.

The top 5 PRO-4 Qualifiers
1. Rick Huseman 54.47
2. Adrian Cenni 55.50
3. Travis Coyne 55.56
4. Scott Douglas 55.80
5. Johnny Greaves 55.89
