Josh Baldwin Triple Podiums and Kyle LeDuc Wins on Toyo® Open Country M/T® Tires

During CORR™ Weekend at Las Vegas International Off-Road Raceway

PRIMM, NEVADA – Josh Baldwin, driving the 850+ horsepower Baldwin Racing / Toyo Tires™ Ford F-150 truck, demonstrated his podium finishing consistency in the Pro 4™ category during the Championship Off-Road Racing™ (CORR) 2007 series final weekend on the newly constructed Las Vegas International Off-Road Raceway at Primm, Nevada.

On Saturday, Baldwin finished second in the Pro 4 race over a field of 14 trucks and finished first in the Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup Qualifier. During Sunday’s races, Josh Baldwin once again proved his strength by finishing third in the Pro 4 category of the Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup after making his way from near the back of the large field of the top competitors assembled in the CORR series. Baldwin then backed that up with another third on Sunday in the Pro 4 class feature.

"Our team put together a great truck for me this weekend and it showed in the results,” said Josh Baldwin. “Our KMC wheels were putting up with an incredible amount of abuse on the huge jumps, and the Toyo tires were giving me so much traction that I could really feel the truck pulling out of the corners. Winning our qualifying heat for the Jason Baldwin Cup was a great start but to then go out in front of a fantastic crowd and run in the front with the best in the sport was the highlight of our season."

Kyle LeDuc, driving the ROCKSTAR / Toyo Tires Ford Ranger, continued to display his strength by winning the Pro-Lite™ class feature race on Saturday. His victory was especially rewarding as he outpaced 26 hungry competitors in the race. During Sunday’s Pro 2™ class races brother, Todd LeDuc, piloted his ROCKSTAR / Toyo Tires Ford truck to a strong second place finish out of a 19-truck field.

“We congratulate Josh Baldwin on his podium winning consistency all weekend and to Kyle LeDuc for his exciting victory,” said Ramses Perez, project manager of events, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation. “Our Open Country M/T tires worked extremely well at this event which was run on the same soil that is common throughout the desert racing circuits of southern Nevada.”

Toyo’s Open Country M/T tire provides optimum off-road traction with its hook-shaped center tread blocks and silhouette of the tread carried onto its sidewall. It is ideal for both off-road use as well as daily use on your favorite custom pickup or SUV. To learn more, log on to toyo.com. Toyo manufactures and distributes a complete line of replacement tires for high performance cars, luxury vehicles, light trucks and SUVs as well as tires for commercial trucks, buses and off-road and construction applications.
