WSORR ENTERS SECOND HALF OF SEASON WITH OSHKOSH NIGHT RACES AND VANDEN HEUVELS “FLYING” HIGH OSHKOSH, WI - Rope off a large section of the grandstands for the Vanden Heuvel “fan club” as the scene is set for the prime-time appearance of this well-known off-road family from nearby Appleton as the Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing Series (WSORR) marks the second half of its season with a stop at Oshkosh Speedzone Raceway with two big nights of racing July 25-26th. - more

Matt Gerald Just 7 Points from WSORR Light Buggy Lead Crandon, WI - Forest County Potawatomi Light buggy driver Matt Gerald and his team came into Bark River after sweeping Crandon 3 weeks prior with high hopes. Being the point’s leader Matt was forced to the outside of row one for the land-rush start. Gerald knew he’d have his work cut out for him. - more

The Super Truck division is extremely competitive as seasoned veterans like Dan Baudoux, Ben Wandahsega, and Ross Hoek always bring their “A” game when it comes time to race. - more

Hoek Takes Skyjacker to the Podium Twice in Bark River Holland, MI  - Ross Hoek Motorsports came to Upper Michigan’s World Center of Dirt with a complete arsenal of race trucks to continue his quest for the championship, in both PRO-2WD and Super Truck in the World Series of Off-Road Racing. This past weekend was the first time RHM would race a separate trucks built specifically for each division. The Skyjacker Suspension Herculiner Raybestos Brakes Goodyear Tires F-150 trucks would not disappoint as the team put each truck on the podium. - more

Flying Dutchman Brings Maxxis First Win, Takes Sole Possession of PRO-2WD Lead Appleton, WI  - Dan Vanden Heuvel and his Maxxis Tire backed Chevrolet Silverado went into the weekend tied with Kevin Probst for the WSORR PRO-2WD point’s lead. Dan was looking to continue his streak of podium finishes in an effort to put Kevin and the rest of the PRO-2WD competition in the rearview mirror. - more

NBC TO BROADCAST ROUNDS 5 & 6 ON JULY 19, 2008 Newport Beach, CA —NBC Sports will broadcast Championship Off Road Racing’s round 6 from the Fairplex in Pomona on July 19th at 10 am – 11:30 am Pacific (1 pm – 2:30 pm Eastern). Originally scheduled last Sunday the episode was preempted due to the Wimbledon Finals which lasted over four and a half hours. - more

Off-Road Racing Night Double-Header to Rock Oshkosh Crandon, WI– “It’s back in Oshkosh!” That’s the slogan for the upcoming Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) event to be held Friday and Saturday nights this coming July 25-26, 2008.
