American Racing extends SCORE Official Wheel partnership To include both the 2007 and 2008 SCORE racing seasons
Los Angeles–SCORE International has announced that the American Racing ATX Series has renewed the SCORE Official Wheel designation for two more years. This follows a successful first year as the SCORE Official Wheel in 2006.
"The American Racing ATX Series is very excited about continuing our status as the official wheel of SCORE for the 2007 and 2008 seasons,” said Chris Anderson, ATX Series Brand Manager. “American Racing just celebrated our 50th anniversary and we look forward to celebrating the 40th anniversary of the SCORE Baja 1000 with SCORE.”
A long-time SCORE Contingency sponsor and supporter of many of the sport’s top racers, American Racing became the first SCORE Official Wheel when it signed just prior to the midway point in the 2006 SCORE Desert Series.
“American Racing is a tremendous marketing partner and we only worked together half of the season in 2006, so the next two years should be unbelievable,” praised Sal Fish, SCORE President and CEO. “The ATX Series wheels are a strong and durable product and they have held up extremely well under very adverse conditions on our SCORE official vehicles. SCORE’s status as the world leader in our sport will only be expanded by our continuing partnership with American Racing and its ATX Series.”
