Series Contingency Tops $1 Million

WI -- The Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) has
announced its 2007 Racer Contingency Program has topped $1,000,000.
Presently at $1,066,828.00, WSORR contingency is on track to break the
all-time record for a published off-road racing contingency program.
"The interest and generosity of contingency sponsors for the 2007 WSORR
season has been phenomenal," said Jim Conner, director of contingency
for the Series. "Tire companies, shock and suspension makers, wheels,
lights, electrical, racing seats -- they are all interested in the
breakthrough product WSORR will be fielding this coming year," he said.
WSORR issues timely bulletins with contingency updates and the latest
contingency sponsors on-board are Advanced Air Cleaner, Maxxis Tires,
Toyo Tires, and a Toyo Tires Crandon Cup Races posting.
"We aren't done yet," said Conner. "There is more to come, more to
announce."
WSORR is staffed by personnel that have nurtured the sport over many
years and developed successful sponsor, competitor and contingency
programs that have brought off-road racing to a high level in the
Midwest and the U.S.
"We take the contingency area of our program very seriously," said
Conner. A full time contingency staff works year-round not only to
acquire the contingency awards for WSORR, but to ensure award program
and products are available to the racers, and that the use of the
product, decals and ID is correct and meets high standards. "Our number
one goal is to ensure contingency sponsors receive an outstanding value
for their participation in the World Series," he said.
WSORR's "Tour 2007" includes race weekends in Minnesota, Michigan,
Wisconsin and Missouri. Conner emphasized that 100% of the contingency
posting goes to WSORR racers.
WSORR is the largest off-road racing organization of its type and
features 11 classes racing under three divisions ranging from Heavy
Metal PRO trucks to high-revving buggies. WSORR combines the three
divisions into one super show of off-road racing, unleashing one of the
strongest, most explosive and thrilling forms of motorsports in the
country today for live audiences as well as SPEED TV.
