SUNOCO RETURNS TO FUEL LUCAS OIL OFF-ROAD WORLD SERIES

CRANDON, WI March 30, 2008 -- Sunoco Race Fuels, the leading fuel
company that powered the popular Lucas Oil World Series of Off-Road
Racing (WSORR) through its exciting inaugural season last year,
returns in the same capacity for the 2008 off-road racing season.
Sunoco Race Fuels will be the exclusive fuel available to World
Series off-roaders at six big race weekends this coming season. That
season opens May 31-June 1 at Lucas Oil Speedway, Wheatland, Mo.,
for WSORR Rounds I and II.
“It is once again a privilege to be a partner with Sunoco Race Fuels
– the premier fuel supplier in racing in this country,” said Jake
Flannery, WSORR’s Chief Race Steward.
All WSORR racers this season will race through the finish line under
a special Sunoco-provided checkered flag.
“We are again pleased to be associated with the Off-Road World
Series as Official Fuel,” said Mitch Hart, Western States Sales
Manager, Sunoco Race Fuels. “The World Series offers racers and fans
the most exciting off-road racing in the country. The opportunity to
be associated with great tracks like Lucas Oil Speedway, Bark River
International Raceway and Crandon International Off-Road Raceway is
special,” he said.
Sunoco Race Fuels will be available to all WSORR off-road racers on
site at all tracks.
Hart noted that WSORR had the highest rated short course off-road
racing shows on SPEED TV and “we are very impressed with their TV
package and production on SPEED,” he said. More information at the
Lucas Oil Off-Road World Series is available at WSORR. com. The
Sunoco Race Fuels website is racegas.com.
WSORR features 12 rounds of off-road racing this season for 10
classes ranging from professional off-road pickup truck racers to
sportsman buggy racers. The Series continues a tradition of off-road
racing in the Midwest that spans 39 years. WSORR featured record
crowds last season in its inaugural year. Other key sponsors for the
World Series include Lucas Oil, Forest County Potawatomi, United
Trailer, BorgWarner, among others.
