THE BOSS Snowplow Sponsors Famous Crandon Raceway Jump
IRON MOUNTAIN, MI – Crandon International Off-Road Raceway has
announced that THE BOSS Snowplow will sponsor the most renowned jump
in off-road racing circles.
Located mid-track at Crandon Raceway in full view of all spectators,
“THE BOSS Snowplow Jump” will be a feature overhead bridge sign at
the track. Further, a pillar marking the longest leap of all time
over the jump, will also be sponsored by THE BOSS Snowplow.
THE BOSS Snowplow Jump is one of the most exciting segments of
Crandon’s famed 1.5-mile track. High performance race pickups,
sportsman trucks and buggies are launched over the jump by off-road
racers in high speed pursuit of taking a win at the Crandon track.
“We have a waiting list of sponsors for our on-track signage”, said
Cliff Flannery, president, Crandon Raceway. “THE BOSS Snowplow
stepped up to join a group of very high profile sponsors at our
World Championship off-road track,” he said.
THE BOSS Snowplow is the acknowledged leader in the design,
engineering and manufacture of the highest quality snowplows, snow
removal equipment and snow plow parts. Known as “THE BOSS”, the
company has spent over 20 years developing snow plows in various
configurations and salt spreaders that do the job faster and better
with high levels of durability and reliability.
The company, based in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, has been active in
professional off-road racing circles the past several years. The
company is title sponsor for World Championship off-road racer Chad
Hord. Hord is the country’s number one racer in the PRO Light Pickup
class competing in his BOSS Snowplow, Lucas Oil, Kumho Tire Nissan
Frontier.
“THE BOSS” joins other big name companies with exclusive on-track
signage at Crandon including the American Racing ATX Wheels starting
tower, Forest County Potawatomi Turn One, BorgWarner Turn Two, Ford
Trucks Skybox Straight-Away, Lucas Oil Gravel Pit Turn Three, Toyo
Tires Chicane and Skyjacker Finish Line.
Off-road racers will test the new BOSS Snowplow Jump at Crandon
Raceway this coming June 23-24 when the track hosts the Forest
County Potawatomi Brush Run Races.
