Mason Motorsports and Mendeola Transaxles Team Up for 2008 WSORR Season

SAN DIEGO,
CA—September 16, 2007--Mendeola Transaxles is proud to announce it will
partner with Mason Motorsports and their Honda Powered JIMCO Super Buggy
for the 2008 WSORR Series. “We felt now would be the time to announce this
partnership with the upcoming “Showdown in the Show-Me-State” season
finale at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri” stated Mike
Mendeola. “When we heard that WSORR planned to elevate the Super Buggy
Class to pro status for 2008 Season it was basically a no brainier to get
involved. With our soon to be released LQ gear box we felt Mason
Motorsports would be the ideal team to partner with for the development,
testing and marketing of the new gear box specifically designed for short
course racing and the Super Buggy Class.”
In our opinion, Mason Motorsports is a top level, professional team who
have been loyal to Mendeola Transaxles for years. Mason’s commitment to
excellence is evident in the first rate race prep his Honda powered JIMCO
Super Buggy always displays. “Mason’s ability behind the wheel is as good
as it gets, he has paid his dues in the class” stated Mendeola. “The
development of the Honda engine has been a long and tedious process but we
now are at the point when all our effort is starting to payoff” stated
Mason. “My driving ability has caught up to the car and we are ready for
the next level of performance increase with Mendeola’s new ratchet shift
LQ gear box..”
“Our
current Mendeola 2D gear box has been the model of reliability” stated
Mason, “we are looking forward to our partnership with Mendeola and the
new LQ gear box. We are very pleased with the commitment Mendeola has made
to our organization, the Super Buggy Class and the WSORR Series.” We now
proudly run the “Mendeola Honda” Super Buggy 912.
Mendeola’s commitment to the 2008 WSORR Super Buggy Series is evident by
the newly announced contingency program worth over $50,000 posted in cash
and prizes. “I believe our contingency program is second to none and
proves our support for the
2008 WSORR Series, the Super Buggy Class”. In addition to a cash payout to
the winner for each Super Buggy round, Mendeola will award $5,000 to the
Super Buggy Points Champion at the end of the season. In addition to the
cash award, the 2008 Champion will receive a new Mendeola LQ gear box,
valued in excess of $10,000. “We trust that our commitment to the WSORR
Super Buggy Class for the 2008 season will lead the way to additional
commitments from other manufacturers and suppliers to promote all the
buggy classes in this sport of Off Road Racing, after all it was the buggy
classes that started it all.” stated Mendeola.
